We'd like to take this opportunity to officially announce Gaz Smalley as the new Chairman of Breightmet United Football Club and knowing his passion and determination to do the right thing for the local community, we can assure you that the club will continue pushing forward...

Having been in and around Moss Park for many, many years, Gaz knows the club and the members/supporters well and having been in a recent Committee meeting, his plans for the future are visionary and should get us all excited...

Stepping up from his former role as Vice-Chairman, this left that position vacant - so we'd also like to tell the world that Craig Rearden is our new VC! Another guy who lives, breathes and sweats Breightmet United, this pairing is going to be formidable moving forward and we cannot wait to see the plans they have in store coming to fruition.

It's all change at the top people but as the 2026-2027 season approaches, believe us when we say that your beloved Breightmet United FC will continue for at least another 150 years!
