Everybody at Breightmet United Football Club would like to extend our biggest, warmest hugs to the family and friends of our friend Aamar Ahmed - who sadly passed away last week - and to let you all know that our thoughts are with you...
Aamar was a very popular figure around the grassroots football scene in the North West for many years and was well respected and much-loved. Some of our players were coached by him in their younger years - and many still pulled on the shirt for him over at near-neighbours Bolton Wyresdale - and as such, they observed a minute's silence for him before yesterday's game against Bridge JFC...
Our thoughts are with his wife Helen and sons Adam and Zak - along with his wider family - and we just wanted to let you know that you may be gone mate - but you'll never be forgotten...
Rest in peace Aamar...
